Support local businesses

Share a smile!

Share a Smile was a campaign to support local leisure and tourism businesses, encouraging people to post recommendations on social media using #ShareaSmileSW.

What was the #ShareaSmileSW campaign?

Share a Smile was a campaign supporting the South West’s leisure and tourism sector. We’ve all felt the impact of the pandemic and it’s been a tough year for businesses throughout our region.

Many businesses are adapting their business models to focus on takeaway and delivery services or online services. We can all do our bit to help the local economy and protect jobs by shopping local for food, drink and gifts in the lead-up to Christmas.

To share the places that make you smile simply:

  1. Post your recommendation on Twitter or Instagram using #ShareaSmileSW
  2. Tag in the business name
  3. If you think particular friends or family would enjoy it too, then tag them in
